BGF CSA Newsletter 2014 Week 16

Dear Blue Goose Farm CSA Members,

WOW! What a box we have for you this week - fall's finest.  There are two delicious and easy side dish recipes this week.  The Cabbage Tossed Salad is beautiful with both green and red cabbage...you're getting green this week and red next week. If you are able to properly store the green cabbage until next week, you may want to wait to try this recipe, at least for appearance sake. And the Roasted Root Vegetable recipe is so versatile, using any (or all) root vegetables you may prefer.

We apologize there isn't enough beets or radishes to go all around.  But instead of letting them go to waste, we use up what we can and just divide the crop. Enjoy what you have!
