BGF CSA Newsletter 2015 Week 4

Dear Blue Goose Farm CSA Members,

Some of you may be asking, “What do I do with all this green stuff?” Well, a dear friend and former CSA member always made stir-fry as a way to use up quite a bit of veggies and enjoy a delicious meal. Some of you may use this method of cooking, but for us, it isn’t something readily done. Here, in our modest “test kitchen”, we have always said, anything sautéed in olive oil and garlic, or sprinkled with cheese, is always good!

This week you'll be seeing two new items – bok choy (a crop we have grown for several years) and tatsoi (a brand new crop grown on the farm this year). We also have new recipes for you to try, one is a stir-fry.  And because we love food and don't have enough room in the newsletter for all of our favorite recipes, click here for one that is tried and true - Salad with Peas, Grapes, & Feta. Enjoy the new venture!
