Dear Blue Goose Farm CSA Members,

The boxes are really green this week but with lots of variety. Your only source of color comes from the red beets! We offer a delicious recipe for Steamed Beets with Sautéed Greens, which you can increase by heeding this side note that couldn't fit into the newsletter...

NOTE: You can add a similar amount of chard leaves (ribs removed) as the listed beet leaves and double the remaining ingredients. However, serve the plate in reverse with the beets over the greens.

And our recipe for Fried Green Tomatoes can also be made with zucchini instead, just follow the same steps. For an added flavor, try these Tasty Veggie Dressings.
